Dr. Murat Eyvaz is an associate professor in the Department of Environmental Engineering at Gebze Technical University in Turkey. His research spans a range of topics, primarily focused on applications in water and wastewater treatment facilities. His expertise includes electrochemical treatment methods, laboratory- and pilot-scale filtration systems, and advanced membrane processes such as forward osmosis, reverse osmosis, and membrane bioreactors. Dr. Eyvaz also specializes in membrane fabrication techniques, including polymeric and nanofiber membranes produced through electrospinning, as well as in spectrophotometric (UV, atomic absorption spectrometry) and chromatographic (gas and high-performance liquid chromatography) analyses.
Dr. Eyvaz has contributed to numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and conference proceedings and has participated in several national research projects. He currently serves as an editor for 50 academic journals and reviews for an additional 120. His four patents in this field further highlight his contributions to wastewater treatment.
